White Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge

Blaise Doubman

This fudge combines the best of both worlds! Peanut butter and white chocolate! If you are not a white chocolate fan, I recommend you still try this recipe but swap out the white chocolate chips for your favorite variety. Milk chocolate, dark chocolate and even butterscotch chips would work with this recipe! I like this fudge room temperature but you can also chill it and eat it straight cold from the refrigerator. Be sure to use sweetened condensed milk and not evaporated milk for this recipe. They are both type of dairy but extremely different.

I have always been a fudge fan and when Reece cups came out with their white chocolate cups, I must have eaten 20 pounds of them that season. White chocolate and peanut butter is one of my very favorite combinations. I remember my Grandma Barbra ordering special white chocolate covered peanut butter creams at Good’s Candies in Kennard when I was younger. She would hide the box from me because she knew I would eat them all if I found the box. Well, here is a recipe that I have made several times, that I have eaten all of! Make this and enjoy.

White Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge

For the peanut butter fudge…
4 cups confectioner’s sugar
1/3 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup smooth peanut butter

For the white chocolate fudge…
2 cups white chocolate chips
1 can sweetened condensed milk

Line a 8×8-inch square baking pan with aluminum foil. Spray with non-stick cooking spray.

Start by making the peanut butter fudge.

In a large bowl place the confectioner’s sugar, milk and butter. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Remove and beat well. Microwave on high an additional 30 seconds.

Beat in smooth peanut butter.

Pour into prepared pan and smooth out the top.

Make the white chocolate fudge by combining the white chocolate chips with the sweetened condensed milk in a large microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high 60 seconds and stir.

Microwave an additional 30 seconds and stir until smooth.

Pour this mixture evenly over the peanut butter fudge and smooth out the top.

Allow to sit for about 2 hours in the refrigerator before cutting and enjoying.

Ask and Answer: I want to wish all of you a joyous Happy Holiday season and a wonderfully new and bright New Years! Thank you for all of your dedication and support. Celebrate!
