Breakfast Pizza

Blaise Doubman

It seems there is a pizza for anything and everything anymore. Any occasion, any event, there is a pizza for the occasion. That got me thinking about breakfast and what would be on a breakfast pizza. I have added sausage, egg and cheese on mine but you could just as easily cook up some bacon and either lay or crumble it over the top of the pizza. The base of this pizza, at first, was going to be a pancake but I decided to make it biscuits instead, thinking it would go better with the toppings of the pizza, including the delicious gravy!

As with all of my recipes and just about any other recipes that you can imagine, you can take this recipe and make it your own pretty easy by adding whatever topping you would like. Try the pancake base pizza and add on top sausages, egg and drizzle with pure maple syrup! If you make this, along with any of my other recipes, send me an email and let me know what you think! Or better yet, take a picture and I will include it in one of my articles coming up soon!

Breakfast Pizza

This item should be eaten right away.

2 tubes of refrigerator biscuits

Homemade, or pre-made gravy packets

1 pound sausage, crumbled and cooked

8 eggs, scrambled and slightly cooled

2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Start by preheating your oven to 425 degrees F. Spray a pizza stone or a pizza pan with non-stick cooking spray containing flour. Line the biscuits up evenly in a circle to make the pizza crust.

Bake in preheated oven, about 3 minutes shy of the suggested time on the tube instructions.

Remove and use the gravy like you would the tomato sauce. Spread evenly to the edges.

Sprinkle on the crumbled and cooked bacon and the slightly scrambled eggs.

Top with the sharp cheddar cheese.

Place back in the oven and finish cooking, and warming up the added ingredients, for about 5-7 minutes until everything is melted and hot.

Remove and allow to cool slightly before cutting and serving. Enjoy!

Ask and Answer: I have been getting a lot of questions about wondering if I have any recipes for peanut butter fudge. I do! Loads of them! Visit my website and search “peanut butter fudge” in the search engine. I have some that are cook, no cook, stove, microwave and even a couple that are only 2-ingredients! If you try them and like them, send me and email and let me know!
