Alice Vickery’s Sandwich Supreme

Blaise Doubman

Alice Vickery, a friend of mine, recently shared a talent she has with me in the form of making some of the most delicious sandwiches I have ever had! She also has many other talents such as singing, flute playing, bracelet making, writing and storytelling just to name a few but “sandwich artist” was one that surprised me. She has made me all different types of sandwiches from double decker sandwiches filled with different types of meats and cheeses, to sandwiches that even include a fried egg, to sandwiches that are on the smaller scale and called minis.

I know there is not really a “recipe” for sandwiches but I am going to try with this one. My favorite sandwich Alice has made me, with the fried egg, is the recipe I have chosen to try and duplicate for today’s column. If you make this sandwich, or come up with one of your own, please message it to me or email it! I would love to see what creative flavors that you all can come up with!

Ask and Answer: I got a message from Beth in New Castle asking if I had any recipes for appetizers. I do! Loads of my recipes can be found on my website and blog.
