Cheeseburger Dip

Blaise Doubman

If you are anything like me, you like exploring the “viral” recipes that are online, no matter what the social media app you use. Lately, I have noticed that TikTok has so many delicious looking recipes that I want to try! The recipe I am sharing today is one that was inspired off of a “viral” video I came across for a “White Castle” based dip. I love dip and find that it is the one food that I can not control myself around or how much I eat. Although, now that I think about it, that is most foods. But especially anything and everything “dip” related.

This recipe tastes just like a cheeseburger, right off the grill, with all of the seasonings and everything but in a “dip” form and it is deliciously addictive! You want to make sure and brown the hamburger first and drain off the fat because if you do not, the dip will ruin. You will have so much fat in your dip that it will not come together properly. Beyond that, you can experiment all that you want with the flavors and textures of this dip.

Cheesburger Dip

Leftovers can be kept covered and chilled for about 4-5 days.

1 pound hamburger, browned and seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika

1 small red onion, diced

1 small white onion, diced

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup ketchup

2 tablespoons yellow mustard

1/2 cup dill relish

16 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed

2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese

2 tablespoons burger seasoning

2 chopped green onions

1/2 cup bacon bits

Start by preheating your oven to 300 degrees F.

In a 9×13-inch baking pan, combine the prepared hamburger with the diced red onion and diced white onion.

In a bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard and dill relish. Add this to the hamburger mixture and stir until evenly coated.

Add in the cubed Velvetta cheese, shredded Monterey Jack cheese and burger seasoning. Stir.

Place in preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove, stir. Bake another 30 minutes.

Remove and stir. Sprinkle the top with the prepared green onions and bacon bits.

Enjoy!
