Classic Chocolate Chunk Cookies
I have shared so many cookie recipes here and in my cookbooks and website and even my monthly newsletter but I figured with the Holidays coming up, what is the harm in one or two to three more? Ha! The recipe I am sharing with you is, in my thoughts, the perfect cookie. They are flat and crisp on the outside but still somehow chewy and soft on the inside. They are delicious hot, warm, cold… Trust me, you will love these. Most people around the Holidays think “Holiday Cookies” and this would be the perfect recipe to use because not only will people love it but it makes a bunch and you can stir up the dough to these cookies a day or two in advance and pop it into the refrigerator!
My November 2025 online / email newsletter that just came out shared a recipe for a recipe that my family makes every year and has for many years, it is that of a “fruit cake” cookie. Now, do not let the word “fruit cake” give you an indications on what this cookie is like. When I was younger, I thought they were terrible! But I really learned to love them as I got older. Anyways, I am getting off topic. If you would like to subscribe to my newsletter, just send me an email though my website. Ok, back to these cookies. Something really important is the baking time of these. They bake for exactly 15 minutes. No less, no longer. If you want the perfect cookie, take out to cool at 15 minutes.
