The Best Peanut Butter Fudge
Blaise Doubman
Halloween is over and before you know it, it will be Thanksgiving, Christmas and then 2025! Can you believe it? I really think that since Covid happened in 2020, so many people like myself, have a hard time with adjusting to times. It does not seem to me at all like it has been 5 years since Covid. Or 5 years since both of my Grandma’s passed away within 10 days of each other. It just does not seem possible. They say as you get older the quicker the time goes and I firmly believe that because I am living it and experiecing it right now, myself.
Since time is moving quickly, I figured what better time than now to start sharing some Holiday recipes and why not start out with something sweet and something easy? This recipe for creamy peanut butter fudge is the absolute best recipe for peanut butter fudge that I have ever tried! If you make it and it is too dry, stir in a little extra milk. If you make it and it is too wet, simply stir in a little more powdered sugar. It is a really forgiving recipe. You can also take this recipe as a base and spread another type of fudge over the top, or perhaps add in some additional candies, chocolate chips or flavorings to the fudge. I love recipes like this.
Creamy Peanut Butter Fudge
4 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup smooth peanut butter
Line a 8×8-inch square baking pan with aluminum foil. Spray with non-stick cooking spray.
In a large bowl place the confectioner’s sugar, milk and butter. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Remove and beat well. Microwave on high an additional 30 seconds.
Beat in smooth peanut butter.
Pour into prepared pan and smooth out the top. Allow to sit for about 2 hours before cutting and enjoying.
